Nurenburg and Wurtzberg

We ventured to Nurenburg today to see the courtroom where they held the war trials after WWI.  It was a very sombering experience.  Trying to realize the mindset of the German population during that time is beyond comprehension.  We also went to Zepellin field where the Nazis would stage rallies.  I tried to capture the expanse of this area, but it was hard to do.  It was, however, easy to picture Hitler marching out of the bronze doors to his podium to rally his troops.  Pretty sickening.  We then drove to Wurzburg and drove the rest of the way back to Rothenberg via the Romantic Road.

I can't caption these for some reason.  The first pic is sunrise out our room.  The rooms are the court room.  One shows how it looked in 1945 and now.  The field pics are Zepellin.  The river and town pics are at Wurzburg.
