Sedona 5/3-5/5/11

We left the Grand Canyon on May 3 and decided that we would spend the next couple of days in Sedona.  The ride over was scenic as we stopped in Wupatki and Sunset Crater National Monuments and Oak Creek Canyon.  We spent the mornings touring around Sedona then lounged by the pool every afternoon as the weather was perfect-sunny and very warm.  One morning we traveled to the old mining town, Jerome, for lunch and a look around.  Sedona is beautiful, flanked by rock formations in every direction.  It is not a town for the weak of wallet, but it was a lot of fun to visit!  Be sure to take your wide angle lens and polarized filter.  I wish I had!!
